A Founding Fathers Weekend. In celebration of our country and its colonial leaders will include patriotic readings and songs, the Pledge to the Flag, Wanda menu of colonial foods. Marjory Lyons will present a luncheon and book review series of the New York Times Bestseller biographies: John Adams by David McCullough on July 2nd; Benjamin Franklin by Walter Isaacson on July 3rd and His Excellency George Washington by James Ellis on July 4th. Writing Your Memoirs Weekend. This will be for overnight guests staying at the Inn. A memoir-writing workshop will be presented on Saturday, July 23 at 10:00 by a luncheon and a hands-on two-hour writing workshop. Informal music and dancing in the Barn will round out the evening. An individual writer's critique session will be held on Sunday morning following breakfast on the terrace. The seminar leader will be Marjory Lyons.
