PLAN OF THE WORKSHOP
A three-day workshop to help you organize your photographs and write your stories. Bring in up to 10 photographs, your writing journals and laptops or iphones. A workbook and writing materials will be supplied.
ORGANIZATION OF THE WORKSHOP
January 25 On Day One, a presentation of Marjory’s method of organizing photographs, certificates, diplomas, etc. Participants select one photo or artifact and plan what they are going to say about it. Participants compose a draft of their stories. ( 1 –3 p.m.)
January 27 Day Two, participants will be actually working on their photos and stories. We will do a round robin critique. Marjory will help edit. The goal is for each participant to complete at least one story about one photograph. Stories may be hand-written or written on computers. (1-3 p.m.)
January 28 Day Three, a “Show and Tell” day as each participant shares their stories and photos. Some may have organized several photos and stories into the first chapter of their books. Covers are optional. (1- 3 p.m.)
